Terms of service

The deal, in plain terms.

Last updated August 6, 2026. These terms are between you and Temp and Major Inc., 604 West 60th Street, Chicago, IL 60621, United States.

1. What the service is

Osokoro is hosted software for running a waitlist: a public launch page, an embeddable form, referral tracking, the emails the waitlist sends, and analytics on the answers you collect. We provide it as a service over the internet. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will exist forever, and we will give notice before removing one you rely on.

2. Who may open an account

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must give an email address you control. One person or company per account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your team members do.

3. Plans, renewal and price changes

Paid plans are monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. Payment is taken by Stripe on the day you subscribe and on the same day each month after that. If a payment fails we keep your plan active for a short grace period while the card is retried; if it is still unpaid after that, the account returns to the free plan. We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before increasing the price of a plan you are on.

4. Changing plan

You can change plan at any time from the billing page. An upgrade takes effect immediately and Stripe prorates the difference. A downgrade takes effect immediately and is prorated as a credit against future invoices. We will not move you to a plan whose limits your current usage already exceeds — you will be asked to archive or remove the excess first, and nothing is deleted to make room.

5. Cancelling

Cancel whenever, from the billing page. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not refund the remainder of a month. Downgrading or cancelling never deletes contacts: waitlists over the new limit are archived rather than destroyed.

6. Refunds

The rule is that we refund what you have not used, and we do not refund what you have. Sending an email, running a model, or placing a call spends money we have already paid a supplier, and that part cannot come back.

Concretely, within 14 days of a charge: an untouched monthly fee is refunded in full; a monthly period you have started to use is not refunded, because the service was supplied; and a prepaid balance is refunded in proportion to the part you have not spent. After 14 days a charge is not refunded, though prepaid balances do not expire and remain yours to spend. We refund a fault of ours — a duplicate charge, or a plan you did not ask for — in full, at any time, without argument.

We do not refund an account we have closed for breaching these terms. If you have already asked your bank to reverse a charge, we will not also refund it directly, because that would pay the same money twice; we will answer your bank with a record of what the account used.

Every figure above is calculated from the usage we have metered against the specific charge, not estimated, and we will show you that calculation if you ask. Statutory rights that apply where you live are not affected by anything here — see section 7.

7. If you have a right to withdraw

If you are a consumer in the UK or the European Economic Area, you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because our service starts the moment you subscribe, we ask you at checkout to confirm that you want it to start immediately and that you understand this reduces what can be refunded once you begin using it. If you give that confirmation, a withdrawal within 14 days is refunded for the part of the service you had not yet received. If you were never asked for it, or did not give it, you may withdraw within 14 days for a full refund regardless of use. Nothing in section 6 limits this.

8. Prepaid balances and consumable resources

Three things in Osokoro are consumable, and all three behave the same way: prepaid email credits, Codoro AI credit, and Osokoro Phone call minutes.

Each is bought in advance, does not expire, and is spent only after the allowance included with your plan. None is transferable between accounts. Each pays for one thing only — credits pay for sending, AI credit pays for model usage, minutes pay for calls — and each stops when it runs out rather than continuing onto an invoice, so you cannot run up a bill you did not approve.

A balance you have not spent is refundable under section 6. A balance you have spent is not, and this is the one place where we will not make an exception on goodwill: the model provider and the telephone carrier have already been paid, and that money is gone whatever we decide. Your usage is itemised, so you can always see what was spent and on what.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use Osokoro to send anything unlawful, to harass anyone, to distribute malware or phishing, to scrape or resell our service, or to interfere with its operation. Do not attempt to reach another customer’s data. Automated access must go through the documented API and stay within your plan’s rate limits.

10. Email and consent

You are the one who collected your contacts, and you are responsible for having the right to email them. Only send to people who gave you their address for this purpose. Every bulk message we send on your behalf carries an unsubscribe link, and we honour unsubscribes and complaints across your whole organisation automatically. We record bounces and complaints, and we may pause your sending if the rate is high enough to threaten delivery for other customers — one account’s reputation problem affects everyone on the platform.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is being used to send mail people did not ask for, or that we are required to act on by law. Where the situation allows it we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. You may close your account at any time from the settings page.

12. Your data is yours

The contacts you collect, the answers they give and the content you write remain yours. Export them at any time as CSV or through the API. We use them to provide the service to you, and for nothing else — we do not sell them, mine them, or market to your contacts on our own behalf. Deleting your account deletes them, subject to the suppression records described in the privacy policy, which we keep so we do not email somebody who asked us not to.

13. Custom domains

If you connect a domain you own, you confirm you are entitled to use it. We will attach it to our hosting so the page is served over HTTPS from your hostname. You remain responsible for the domain registration and its DNS. If your plan stops including custom domains we stop serving the domain after a grace period, and keep the configuration for a further retention period in case you upgrade again.

14. Third-party services

Providing this service means using others: Supabase (database and authentication hosting), Vercel (application hosting and custom domains), Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services SES (email delivery), Resend (email delivery fallback), and Sentry (error monitoring). They process data on our instructions, and the privacy policy lists what each one handles.

15. Availability

We aim for continuous availability and do not promise it. There is no uptime commitment on any current plan. We take backups and we will tell you about incidents that affect your data.

16. Warranties

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the analytics will predict anything, or that a waitlist will grow.

17. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from these terms. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

18. Indemnity

You will cover us against claims arising from the contacts you collected without permission, from content you sent, or from your use of a domain you were not entitled to use.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Illinois, United States, and the courts of the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting a claim, contact us at hello@osokoro.com — most things are resolvable that way.

20. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. For a material change affecting a paid account we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email, and continuing to use the service after that is acceptance. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
